THE FIELDS ARE IN COURAGEOUS PURSUIT OF GOD...
Just as God commanded Joshua, we are called to live courageously and fearlessly on purpose.
Our purpose is to be Christ's original intent for the church (Ekklesia) by raising a brave new breed of believers with an unshakeable identity and an unwavering pursuit of God.
From young to old, they equip and empower our community to rise as leaders, carrying Kingdom culture and God's presence to all aspects of our lives.
As ministers for over 40 years, they have built their lives around listening to God's voice and being obedient. So, they started Courageous Community Church from a humble prayer meeting at a warehouse during the 2020 pandemic. Since then, both Phillip and Darlena have been intentional in multiple ways to disciple and raise a brave new breed of believers.
Phillip
Using his decades of licensing family and marriage counseling experience, Phillip is a father to leaders and passionate about seeking revival for our community and nation.
After over 40 years of ministry, he is still going strong in pursuing the Kingdom of God and even more on fire.
He has many roles: Founder and pastor at Courageous Community Church, dad of 4 adult children, granddad to 2 grandbabies, husband of over 30 years, mentor and disciple, and teacher at KINEO Ministry Training Center.
He takes each role seriously and prioritizes his relationship with the Lord above all else.
Darlena
Darlena is a passionate breakthrough and life coach. She lives to embolden others to become who they were born to be.
Darlena has made her life a mission to pursue constant spiritual, emotional, and mental growth with the Lord and encourage others to do the same. Her vulnerability and authenticity have inspired so many others.
God has gifted her with many roles. She is the founder and Pastor of Courageous Community Church, the mother of four adult children, the grandmother of two grandbabies, and the wife of over thirty years. She is also the founder and leader of Dauntless Women’s Ministry, an active biblical citizen, and the Founder of Courageous Coalition.
She never takes her roles lightly and places her intimate relationship with her Heavenly Father above all.
